Email Length
We should keep e-mails short – no more than 1-10 sentences. If we have a communication that necessitates a longer message, we should consider using an attachment. We should communicate our main points in the first sentence or two of our e-mails. If we do not, we can serve to waste the time of those we e-mail (especially if they could respond without reading the entire message). Or worse, we run the risk of them losing interest in our message and never getting to the purpose of our e-mail.
